Tuesday: A journey to the supermarket when you don't speak the local language... Sar accidentally bought a lottery ticket and I held up the line for several minutes while an employee ran off to weigh my produce because apparently they don't have scales at the cash register. Whoops!

Wednesday: This adorable baby peed all over my shirt. But I forgave him, because he is cute. Then he peed on me again. And I forgave him again. What can I say, I love smiley babies! I needed a shower anyway, after playing in the makeshift sandbox with the girls that morning. I thought I smelled animal poop and my fears were confirmed when Iza told me later that there was poop in the dirt there (after asking me if I wanted to go out and play in it with her. Gee, thanks Iza!)
Thursday: Sar and I strung necklaces with the Joy Beads women. Joy Beads is a program that exists to help the women in the village make a living. Every week they are given strips of paper to roll into beads and then on Thursdays they come over and string them, along with glass beads, onto necklaces which are then sold by Rachel. Each family that sends children to the Isaiah Center program also sends a woman to Joy Beads.
